15 years setting up and coordinating teams, prospecting business, developing strategies and projects that have contributed to building and strengthening of numerous brands.

15 years teaching at colleges, sharing my passion about innovation driven by design.

 

Graduated in Industrial Design at ISIA (Rome) with a master degree at UPC (Barcelona), I worked as Senior Design for seven years in two of the most important studios in Milan, Isao Hosoe Design and Antonio Citterio and Partners, developing projects for companies that are global benchmark in design, as Vitra, Kartell, Flos, Hansgrohe and Guzzini.

 

As Director of IED Design School of São Paulo, I was responsible for coordinating the courses of Product and Interior Design and building partnerships among which stand out Chilli Beans, Idea!Zarvos, MaxHaus, Museu da Língua Portuguesa, Philips, Reebok, Tok&Stok and Whirlpool.

 

I Set up and coordinated the Product Design department at Tátil SP and I was Senior Design Manager at Ana Couto Branding, responsible in Rio by Brand Experience projects. I was founding partner of Fantastico Studio di Design and since 2016 I am in charge of the product design of VMLY&R Commerce (formerly Geometry).

 

Among the awards I won, it highlights the Medalla ADI / FAD 1997 (Spain), the 1st place in the contest Grus Watch 1999 (Spain), the  iF Design Award (Germany) in 2006 and 2008 (Gold), the Best of the Best Red Dot Award 2009 (Germany), the Chicago Athenaeum 2009 (USA) an Honorable Mention in the Prêmio Salão Design 2010 (Brazil), two Golds from ABRE in 2014 (Brazil), many IDEA Brazil (including the "Best of the Best" in 2014), the 1st place in the Prêmio Salão Design 2018 (Brazil), on the Professional Category, several Colunistas (Brazil), including the Grand Prix on Design 2019 and the A' Design Award 2019 (Italy).

 

Over the past 15 years, I taught History of Design and Furniture, Strategic Design, Design Management, Semiotics and Design, Packaging Design, Industrial Design and Retail Design at colleges as IED (São Paulo), IESB (Brasília), Sustentare (Joinville ) and Miami Ad School (Rio de Janeiro).

 

I believe in design as an ally of business, the main factor of differentiation from the competitors and a guide for innovation. I love to identify opportunities and work collaboratively. I have an eye for details, the head in the clouds and the feet on the ground.
